CRA Tightens the Voluntary Disclosure Program

Further to our posting on November 10, 2017, Canada Revenue Agency indicated last week at the Annual Conference of the Canadian Tax Foundation that it may delay implementation of what still amounts to proposed changes to its Voluntary Disclosure Program.  While CRA has given no indication that it will alter the proposals themselves, it is possible that the changes to the Program will not be implemented until the summer of 2018 or even later in the year – we wait.
